It
is 2030, and I am 30 years old. Just after a video conference, I stood
in front of a huge floor-to-ceiling window and looked a little tired.
The sun shines on me through the window, and the temperature of the sun
seems to be slowly dispelling the tiredness of my body. I closed my eyes
comfortably. “Di-di.” The bell of
my watch rings and a picture of my mother is shown on the face. She is
contacting me through her smartwatch. In less than a second after
clicking the switch button, a 3D image of my mother is projected a few
meters in front of me and she is watering the flowers. The watch on my
hand is a new communication device designed by my team. The device makes
us feel more real about the person we are chatting with. Then,
I sat back. On my desk are two pictures side by side. The one on the
right is me skiing in Switzerland a few years ago, and the one on the
left is a group photo of my team and children who received help from us. Both the decorations and the
awards in the office point to my success. Yes! I belong to a group of
those who are ambitious. I believe that whether it is you who are
sitting at the table reading my composition or if it is me, we’ve all
had hopes for the future. Mine is, just as I have described, to be a
person who has had accomplishments in my career and has made
contributions to society.
